Tucson Tooth Whitening

Dr. McMaster’s dedicated approach to individualized service begins with a personalized, discrete, one-on-one discussion to allow us to understand your dental history, your long term goals. This allows us to gain an appreciation for your unique set of circumstances allowing us to create a plan which is appropriate for each individual. Our goal is to comfortably create your dentistry so that it looks good, feels good, and lasts a very long time.

Porcelain Veneers

Of all the methods available today for changing and improving the look of your smile, veneers are the most popular and successful with our clients. The process involves removing a small amount of tooth structure to make room for the veneers. Based on a design for your own unique situation, ‘provisional’ veneers are made of acrylic, to help visualize the final result and worn until the porcelain veneers are placed. A highly talented porcelain artist then creates natural looking porcelain veneers from impressions taken at this appointment. After placement, the veneers look like natural teeth. Some advantages of porcelain veneers over bonding include: increased longevity, capability of more dramatic changes, as well as a greater resistance to staining. Look at these examples and you will see what distinguishes Dr. McMaster and his team from the rest in the field.

Tooth Whitening

Sometimes all you need to feel better about your smile is a simple whitening treatment. Dr. McMaster has been performing teeth whitening since 1986, and has experience using several different methods. Very common is the take home tray whitening systems, which have proven to be extremely effective. However, as a busy professional, you may not have as much time to dedicate to time-consuming take home whitening kits. That’s why ZOOM! can be an effective option for you. Both take home trays and in office ZOOM! Can be effective in treating years of harsh staining form tea, coffee or smoking, all which can make you look older than you really are.

Bonding

If you are looking to improve your smile with a minimally invasive technique, direct dental bonding may be the answer. An even, bright smile gives us the confidence needed to get everything we deserve out of life. This technique is used to repair chips and fractures in front teeth, or to update the great smile you already have, as well as more extensive tooth modifications shown here. Direct Dental bonding is an art form, an amalgamation of a keen eye, experience and technical mastery, accomplished by the free-handed sculpting of natural appearing resins, frequently done without anesthetic. A winning smile is more than just a matter of good health and confidence; it can give you that leading edge in all aspects of your life. Dr. McMaster knows that creating a true smile makeover is an art form, and enjoys taking pride in his skill.

Implants

Dental implants are an amazing solution for many people today, because implants can replace many features an individual has lost. Recreating a beautiful smile, laughing and eating comfortably, and the self-confidence that comes from having a healthy smile can be brought back. A dental implant is ultimately a replacement for the root of the missing tooth. Implants are often the first choice when replacing missing teeth because they are so strong and natural in appearance, and the adjacent teeth do not need to be sacrificed, as in a fixed bridge. A titanium cylinder secured in the bone functions as the root of your tooth. Then a crown, attached to the titanium cylinder, is attached to the cylinder, giving the appearance of a natural tooth. Implants can also be used to provide retention and stability to removable dentures, by using snap-type attachments to create tremendous retention.

Bridges

Missing teeth can cause a variety of problems, from low self-esteem and embarrassment to physical ailments, including gum disease, bite problems, bone loss, speech difficulties and painful chewing. A dental bridge can not only restore your smile to its natural appearance, but it can also return it to comfort and function. These examples show fixed bridges, which are anchored to healthy teeth on each side of the missing tooth space. A fixed bridge can also be placed on dental implants.
